Two choices, not three
The ending sits after the Great Loom and the escape sequence. Two mutually exclusive flags exist. Going is Adventuring Spirit. Staying is Finish What We Started. What Lies Ahead marks reaching the end at all. On 18 October 2026 the global rates were about 9.8 percent for the go flag and 6.9 percent for the stay flag. That is a player split, not a moral score.
Trophy descriptions, which are secondary to the flags but consistent with each other, say the go choice passes through a door toward another time and place associated with Elym, and the stay choice remains in Provenance. I am not expanding that into a scene. A guide that claims a secret third ending is either describing another game or has not shown a flag for it. There is no third ending achievement in the 39-name API list.
What has to be true before the choice
You link three nodes and start the loom. The escape includes the laser-crate bloom and Unbind, and the breakable wall that hides the Mnemosyne Spindle. Those are route facts, written on the Final Loop page. They are the conditions, not the meaning. Pacifist can be earned on a clear, which means the ending does not require a kill. Better With Friends tracks the NPC lines separately from which door you take.
If you want the words on screen, play the choice. This page will not invent them to fill a heading.
